About Me

Aloha everyone!

I am 28 years old, and will be having my first baby boy in 4 weeks! I am married to my beautiful, loving husband Conrado Cruz Bishop, who is a former Marine and now works for an auto body shop, Phil Thearles in Santee, CA. Currently I am active duty in the United States Coast Guard, serving as an Aviation Maintenance Technician. Yup, that's right. I work on MH-60 Jayhawks and have been for almost 8 years now. It's been such an exhilarating journey, however it will come to an end next summer when I decide to pursue my dreams and something more fulfilling!

I am a college student at California Baptist University. I was going strong trying to get my Bachelors in Kinesiology, however I decided to take a summer break since I will be delivering and giving birth to my son in July (estimated on the 12th). My passion is fitness and learning everything about the human body. It is so thrilling to study how we function, how we grow, how we multiply, and how we heal ourselves, and the limitations of our inner workings. I'm excited to get back into it once everything settles down with the little one.

After realizing how unhappy I am with my career in the CG, I decided it's time for me to start something new. After a few months of searching, praying, and hoping, I finally found what I was looking for. So, through a couple of co-workers I over heard them talking about their wives being Beachbody coaches, or something to do with the company. But never really thought anything of it. Then I heard about it again and how much his wife was making and how much she loves it. So then I thought to myself, why not? I got in touch with her, started researching it all online, and definitely dug into it. I've done P90X and Insanity in the past, and loved both of them! Why didn't I know about this before? Finally, I just decided to commit. What did I have to lose? I absolutely love fitness, and being a coach to teach others and help others with their goals in health and fitness is perfect for what I have been dying to do! So here it was. Plain and simple. The message God had intended for me to finally receive and do with it what I wanted.

Here, I am only a little under a month in and I'm loving every day of it. Even though it's only the beginning and it's starting off quite slow, I'm okay with that. I know God has plans for me, and I know that things happen for a reason. Being successful and finding your passion in life doesn't happen overnight! I've learned that if you want to make a change, it will take some time. But consistency is key. Join me on this journey. I'm so happy to share anything, and everything if you're interested. If not, that's okay too. If it benefits you to just read my blogs then that is great!! By all means contact me if you just need help with getting motivated and how to get started in your journey.

"We waste so many days waiting for the weekend. So many nights wanting morning. Our lust for future comfort is the biggest thief of life." -Joshua Glenn Clark
